Assistant Director of Residence Education Main Campus (Houghton, MI)
As a member of the Residence Education and Housing Services team, the Assistant Director of Residence Education will partner with the Associate Director in creating an inclusive and intentional residential education experience for students. This position is a champion for student development and is responsible for the design, implementation, and evaluation of the residential learning model, departmental assessment, and academic success initiatives to support the continued development and retention of students living in the residence halls at Michigan Technological University. This is a 12-month position providing live-on amenities including a furnished apartment. The opportunity to discuss living off campus is available.
Assistant Director, Alumni and Student Programming Main Campus (Houghton, MI)
The Assistant Director, Alumni and Student Programming is responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of alumni and student engagement programs in support of University priorities. Under the direction of the Director for Alumni Engagement, this position will work as part of the team (Advancement, Annual Giving and Alumni Engagement) to effectively communicate with and engage the alumni constituency to promote their involvement with and investment in Michigan Technological University. Creating a culture of philanthropy on campus is a key responsibility for this position. The Assistant Director will also represent the University at Alumni Engagement events, both on- and off-campus.

Director Main Campus (Houghton, MI)
Michigan Tech’s Division of Student Affairs is looking for an enthusiastic leader who will use a teamwork approach to provide strategic and culturally responsive leadership and administrative responsibilities for the Center for Student Mental Health & Well-being (CSMHW). As a director within the Division of Student Affairs, this position works collaboratively with other areas in Student Affairs and throughout campus to create and promote an inclusive and welcoming culture of well-being. The Center integrates clinical services with case management, prevention/promotion activities and third party telemental health services to offer a holistic approach that meets the needs of all students. The Research Scientist - Optics and Spectral Scientist will bring expertise in linear and non-linear spectroscopy, optics, and the formulation and solving of inverse problems. The career advisor will also co-lead the development of “Design Your Career" programming, allowing students to create a structured self-reflective strategy to guide changes in their career interests and opportunities.
