Administrative Aide 8 Main Campus (Houghton, MI)
The administrative aide is often the first point of contact for those we serve in the registrar’s office. Primary responsibilities include assisting customers, managing room reservation requests, assigning tasks to student employees, updating the department website as needed, processing accounts payable and reconciling the department budget, assisting customers with the guest access system, and managing a variety of administrative tasks within the office.
MTRAC Program Manager Lakeshore Center (Houghton, MI)
The MTRAC Program Manager has responsibility for the management of the Advanced Materials Michigan Translational Research and Commercialization Program (MTRAC) in support of the Program Director. The Program Manager supports logistics and reporting activities for the grant program processes related to the preparation of applications for funding, selection of projects for funding by the external oversight committee, establishing new awards, assisting investigators with reporting, and developing reports to the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) as the program sponsor.

Provide administrative and clerical support in the operation of the payroll office. Provide excellent customer service to a wide variety of customers through research to identify and resolve issues surrounding employee payroll. Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach Main Campus (Houghton, MI)

Assist with the management and oversight of daily operations at Mont Ripley Ski Hill. All duties of the position shall be performed with a commitment to the highest level of customer service and total satisfaction of all customers, including transforming the skiing experience for Michigan Tech students. Supervise all outdoor operating units including snowmaking operations, lift operations, and grooming operations. Maintain grounds, ski area safety, and enforcement of policies and procedures.

Information Systems Security Engineer Michigan Tech Research Institute (Ann Arbor, MI)
The Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) will provide cybersecurity architecture analysis and security engineering support to multiple sponsors. The selected candidate will perform tasks such as ensuring cybersecurity is included in the design of new/existing operational environments; perform security authorization activities in compliance with Risk Management Framework (RMF) policies and procedures to include: System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessment Reports, Assessment & Authorization (A&A) packages, and Security Controls Traceability Matrix (SCTM). Assist ISSMs/ISSOs and CPSOs in maintaining operational security posture to ensure information systems (IS), security policies, standards, and procedures are established and followed. Perform vulnerability/risk assessment analysis to support A&A. Provide configuration management (CM) expertise for information system security software, hardware, and firmware and lead Change Control Board (CCB) meetings. Photography Specialist Main Campus (Houghton, MI)
The Photography Specialist serves as the lead photographer for the university. They assist the Creative Director in developing and executing the visual identity for the University, with special emphasis on photography. They photograph a variety of university events, locations and people on campus, including research facilities, classrooms, student activities, landscapes scenes, students and faculty and other subjects crucial to the success of the University Marketing and Communications. Their photographs appear in admissions materials, print publications, digital marketing ads, websites and social media. They work with designers, social media managers and clients to compose, coordinate and capture dynamic photos that support the University's branding and strategic goals. Imagination and creativity are vital in this role. As part of the studio team, the photography specialist collaborates with the Multimedia Specialist in scheduling and coordinating joint photo and video shoots. The Photography Specialist also collaborates with the Digital Support Manager in managing our photo database system to ensure proper storage and easy retrieval, liaising with the campus community to coordinate and manage photography needs, recruit, train and mentor student photographers.

The Office Assistant provides general office support for the Student Financial Services Center. The office assistant coordinates with multiple staff members to ensure office coverage and is responsible for responding to the ever-changing needs of the department and the students, families, faculty, and staff that it serves.
