Michigan Technological University is seeking two 1st shift custodians who will be responsible for the performance of routine and special custodial duties in facilities and grounds as assigned. Work is performed in accordance with instructions and schedules provided, with results regularly inspected. Provide excellent customer service to a wide variety of internal and external customers. These are full time, (40 hrs per week), 9 month positions.

Director for Charitable Giving Main Campus (Houghton, MI)
The Director for Charitable Giving is responsible for securing gifts of $25,000 and greater to support the university’s programs, priorities, and initiatives. This position will act as the liaison for colleges and campus units as assigned by the Executive Director for Charitable Giving. The Director will utilize a moves management system to identify, strategize, and document all gifts. Through collaborative efforts with the fundraising team and strategic actions to advance donor portfolios, their focus is meeting and exceeding yearly metrics to attain campaign goals. The Director will travel to interact with alumni and friends of the university and professionally represent the mission and vision of Michigan Tech. Ideal candidates will possess excellent written and oral communication skills to support collaborative efforts between university partners to advance the impact-giving donor pipeline for Michigan Tech.
Postdoctoral Scholar, Computation Main Campus (Houghton, MI)

The Facilities Management Department of Michigan Technological University seeks a Facilities Engineer - Architect to administer design and construction projects, supervise construction, perform on-site quality control inspections and coordinate safety of campus construction projects. Procurement Specialist Advanced Power Systems Research Center (Near Houghton County Airport)
The Procurement Specialist is responsible for the lifecycle of APSRC purchases, from the time of purchase to the time of disposal. The position manages and oversees all purchasing activities of the center. Structural Engineer Main Campus (Houghton, MI)
This position serves as a technical expert in the structural engineering of bridges and culverts. This position will work as part of a team that provides training and customer support to bridge owners and their engineers/consultants on bridge design, load rating, and asset management. This position is also responsible for conducting small applied research projects in fields related to transportation infrastructure. This position serves as an advocate and technical resource for Michigan’s local (city, village, county) transportation agencies and will provide technical support for activities underway at the Center for Technology & Training, which includes work with the Michigan Local Bridge Load Rating and Inspection Support program and the Michigan Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP). The position requires a background in structural engineering.
Research Program Coordinator Main Campus (Houghton, MI)
Working under the direction of the Principal Investigator, the Chemical Engineering department seeks a Research Program Coordinator who will provide coordination of multi-funded research projects. This position will coordinate efforts which may include other collaborating agencies and institutions. Provides comprehensive research development support (including pre-and post-award proposal development and management) to faculty members and administrative assistance to center and department leadership. Coordinates on-campus and external outreach to help foster research growth.
