Graphic Design Specialist Main Campus (Houghton, MI)
The Graphic Design Specialist (GDS) working in University Marketing and Communications (UMC) must have a deep understanding of the principles of design, a passion for good design and the technical capabilities to bring those designs to life. They should strive for excellence and appreciate constructive criticism. The GDS will take initiative and work well both independently, as well as part of a multidisciplinary team of designers, writers, videographers, photographers, and coders. They are an expert communicator, detail-driven and respect process. As part of the visual team, reporting to the Creative Director the GDS will bring Michigan Tech’s brand to life through a variety of print materials including admissions pieces, university marketing materials, large scale signage, and more, as well as have the opportunity to design for web, social media and video. Senior Media Systems Engineer Main Campus (Houghton, MI)
As a member of the Media Technology Services team, the Senior Media Systems Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, procurement, installation, programming, implementation, maintenance, support, and periodic operation of university media technology systems. The systems include Crestron and Extron controlled audio/visual systems, video streaming systems, IP video production facilities, digital signage systems and DSP enabled audio systems in classrooms, conference rooms, entertainment venues and research facilities. Parking Enforcement Agent Main Campus (Houghton, MI)
Under the direction of the Assistant Manager, this position will coordinate the operations, activities, and functions of the University's parking control program.
Associate Controller Lakeshore Center (Houghton, MI)
The Associate Controller is an integral member of the Financial Services and Operations team, with responsibilities that include but are not limited to, supporting the Controller in the annual external audit and preparation of financial statements for the University (GASB standards) and Foundation (FASB standards), preparing monthly reconciliations, cash forecasting, and variance analysis.
Equipment Operator I Main Campus (Houghton, MI)
Maintain and improve University grounds including turf, streets, parking lots and subsurface infrastructure; move equipment and furniture; transport incoming and outgoing freight shipments; set up furnishings and equipment at special events; and assist and work with Grounds and Trades personnel on a wide variety of projects.
Maintenance Mechanic Main Campus (Houghton, MI)
Plan and perform a variety of skilled work in the maintenance and repair of University-owned equipment and motor vehicles including, but not limited to heavy equipment; service vehicles; maintenance equipment; and, back-up generators; and assist and work with Grounds and Trades personnel on a wide variety of projects.
Coordinator of Research and Marketing Programs Main Campus (Houghton, MI)
Provide guidance and administration of department research initiatives/ development; by providing faculty and research centers with pre- and post- award support, oversight of administrative functions of both programs, along with communication and promotion of broader impact activities of the department. Develop and oversee all department marketing materials including social media.
Administrative Aide 7 Main Campus (Houghton, MI)

The Administrative Aide 7 is a member of the Financial Services & Operations team and is responsible for maintaining the fixed asset records of the University. Other responsibilities include processing location changes, assisting with the annual physical inventory, and reviewing surplus equipment/property requests. This position also utilizes the document imaging system, Perceptive Content to route, scan, and link documents.
Office Assistant 6 Main Campus (Houghton, MI)
Provide administrative and clerical support to the chair, faculty and staff in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. Provide front office coverage of the ECE Department. Assist with the accounting, finance and payroll functions of the department. Assist with departmental meetings, banquets and events.
Office Assistant 5 Lakeshore Center (Houghton, MI)
Provide excellent customer service to a wide variety of customers through research to identify and resolve issues surrounding employee payroll. Review and analyze data prior to entry into the human resource / payroll systems for accuracy. Obtain knowledge of the multi time entry processes and systems.
Office Assistant 4 Main Campus (Houghton, MI)
This position will assist with proctoring exams and support the needs of the Michigan Tech Testing Center, either in person or online. This position will also be expected to complete additional training allowing them to proctor for sponsored exams.

As a member of the Residence Education and Housing Services team, the Residence Education Coordinator will assume a vital role in the residence life program for the growth of the individual through community living. The Residence Education Coordinator is responsible for providing and supporting student development and leadership, building community, and promoting learning in the residence halls. The Assistant Vice President of Alumni Engagement works collaboratively with alumni and university leadership to develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive program designed to provide meaningful opportunities for alumni to enhance loyalty, dedication, and support for Michigan Tech. This position serves as an on-campus spokesperson for over 80,000 living alumni, leads efforts to create and sustain strong value connections for alumni and friends across the state, country, and around the world. The Assistant Vice President of Alumni Engagement develops programs to facilitate lifelong dialogue between the University and its constituents to increase alumni participation and giving. The ideal candidate engages alumni and friends to actively contribute back to the University through philanthropic support, fostering strong relationships with alumni by engaging them in the life of the University and with other alumni. The Assistant Vice President of Alumni Engagement develops and maintains cooperative and collaborative relationships and programs with University units, such as Admissions, Career Services, Parent and Family Programs, Athletics, Student Affairs, and academic colleges and departments.
