The main duties of the Administrative Aide (level 7) are to assist in the management of the Residence Education and Housing Services office front desk/suite. The Administrative Aide (level 7) will ensure that the front office area provides a welcome environment for guests that’s efficient and open daily for business, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, ensuring office coverage daily. The Administrative Aide (level 7) must have excellent computer skills, approach work processes methodically, and have extreme attention to detail.
Research Engineer I Keweenaw Research Center (Near Houghton County Airport)
Support management of the information systems and networks at KRC. Areas of expertise to include local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and intranets. This includes the organization, installation and support for hardware and software for these systems. Provide assistance to KRC employees and external customers with problems concerning network access, software, computers, and peripherals such as printers or scanners.

MTRI is seeking a highly motivated, intellectually curious professional to help support multiple projects for our government and commercial customers. The Research Scientist - Optics and Spectral Scientist will bring expertise in linear and non-linear spectroscopy, optics, and the formulation and solving of inverse problems. This position provides students and alumni career exploration and development services; provides job search assistance for full-time, co-op and internship opportunities; promotes relationships with employers to enhance recruitment; develops and presents on-campus and community workshops and seminars; coordinates assigned areas of united operations and shares in general responsibilities of the department. The career advisor will also co-lead the development of “Design Your Career" programming, allowing students to create a structured self-reflective strategy to guide changes in their career interests and opportunities. Supervise the Career Services Learning Center.

The Administrative Aide - Level 7 provides professional administrative support for the Department of Chemistry. This person works closely and cooperatively with the department chair, office staff, and the chemistry graduate program director. The primary responsibilities are to provide management support to the chair on budgets and accounts, and administrative support to the chemistry graduate program. The successful applicant will have the ability to work independently to complete assignments, propose improved workflow procedures, and dependably carry out administrative functions requiring accuracy, discretion and confidentiality.
