Responsibilities and Essential Duties Develop a vigorous externally funded research program in areas of interest while fostering internal and external collaborations.Engage in undergraduate and graduate teaching and mentorship while maintaining a high level of student engagement.Participate in service activities at the department, college, and university level, as well as in professional organizations and societies.Integrate safety practices into daily activities and apply continuous improvement strategies to everyday work. Required Education, Certifications, Licensures Applicants must have earned a PhD degree in computer science, computer engineering, cybersecurity, information systems, or a closely related discipline at the time of employment. Required Experience Successful applicants must have a record of scholarship in cybersecurity. Applicants for senior positions must have an established record of teaching, research and service that aligns with the expectations of the rank. Desirable Education and/or Experience Teaching experience at the university level.Experience with development of externally funded grant proposals.Demonstrated activity within professional organizations related to the applicant’s research area(s).
