Assistant Teaching Professor in Accounting Main Campus (Houghton, MI)
Michigan Technological University's College of Business invites applicants for an Assistant Teaching Professor in Accounting. The position requires the teaching of undergraduate and graduate courses in accounting/taxation, as well as maintaining an active research agenda as a scholarly-academic (SA) per AACSB standards. The successful candidate will demonstrate teaching experience and/or expertise in taxation. Teaching experience in financial statement analysis and some background in assessment of learning are also highly desirable. Candidates with a PhD, or JD with evidence of scholarship, and candidates near completion of their PhD (ABD) will be considered. A broad range of research interests will be considered, including pedagogical research in accounting/taxation. The ability to leverage research expertise in the classroom will be prioritized.
