Learn more about us at mtu.edu/about.The digital project manager will provide assigned Michigan Tech departments with Omni CMS project management, site recommendations, generation of new pages, and site maintenance as necessary. The digital project manager will improve and maintain quality, benchmark and test, and innovate sites and pages to meet integrated marketing, brand awareness and reputation, and recruitment goals.The digital project manager may also be assigned additional projects related to digital advertising and analytics reporting. Responsibilities and Essential Duties 1. Manage assigned web projects: create and update site architecture, content, files, images, and assets to meet goals and serve target audiences while following brand, editorial, accessibility, and industry standards.2. Work with assigned departments to improve web content, user experience, functionality, and marketing goals of their websites within Omni CMS.3. Maintain ongoing relationships with assigned department liaisons and college digital content managers to help fulfill their digital project needs.4. Provide web marketing/recruitment expertise and consultation as needed to campus.5. Repurpose and assist in creating a variety of source documents (Google Docs, Images, PDFs, or other formats) for the web.6. Execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain standards and best practices on recruitment websites.7. Use analytics, benchmarking, and best practices to make and recommend changes to assigned websites, striving for continuous improvement in design, usability, and search engine rankings.8. Create, maintain, and execute annual maintenance plans as necessary.9. Respond and manage assigned tickets through Team Dynamix Ticketing system.10. Work with team in reviewing digital content for consistency, accuracy, and compliance and consulting on usage, standards, and best practices. Collaborate via Slack and Asana.11. Support an environment of team trust.12. Integrate safety practices into daily activities.13. Commit to learning about continuous improvement strategies and applying them to everyday work.Functional supervision over college digital content managers and others involved in the development and maintenance of Michigan Tech digital sites and assets. Functional and/or management may be exercised over digital services students. Required Education, Certifications, Licensures ● Bachelor’s degree in communications, web design, computer/information systems, or a combination of military, education, training, and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.
