Construction Manager Main Campus (Houghton, MI)
Administer construction projects, supervise construction, perform on-site quality control inspections and coordinate safety of campus construction projects. Assistant Research Scientist - Geospatial Ecology Michigan Tech Research Institute (Ann Arbor, MI)
The Assistant Research Scientist-Geospatial Ecology position provides support for MTRI programs focused on the application of geospatial analysis and image processing to solve governmental and societal needs through sponsored research. The ability to improve the processing, analysis, and visualization of remote sensing data will be important. Examples of current research areas include mapping of invasive wetland species, assessing transportation infrastructure, modeling impacts of high hydrologic flow, estimating emission impacts from wildfires, improving geotemporal visualization of complex data and patterns, and extending UAV-enabling sensing.
