MTU Global Campus is committed to enhancing opportunities for nontraditional students and industrial partners. The Global Campus team provides strategic direction to develop and drive an online and continuing education strategy to ensure the university meets nontraditional and online education needs through evolving learning modalities, helping professionals remain competitive in the marketplace, and helping industrial partners access skilled employees. The Director of Global Campus and Continuing Education is responsible for the operations of the global campus, directly managing staff (admissions, marketing, support services) and financial management (invoicing/payments). This “hands on” working role involves close collaboration with academic departments, faculty, and staff to oversee online degree and non-credit programs. The Director evaluates and suggests innovative concepts, technologies, and delivery modes for online learning, ensuring the quality of online courses and compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards. Additionally, they act as the contact for marketing and corporate partners.
