Job Description Summary The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering invites applications for three faculty positions at the assistant professor level to begin in the fall semester of 2024. Essential Duties & Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned) • Develop strong research and graduate educational programs• Translate new and exciting discoveries into effective undergraduate and graduate teaching activities both face-to-face and online• Develop externally funded research programs• Advise graduate student research at the MS and PhD level and involve undergraduates in research• Participation in department and university committees• Integrate safety practices into daily activities• Commit to learning about continuous improvement strategies and applying them to everyday work, as well as University and ABET Assessment activities• Ability to learn and leverage new teaching technologies• Other duties as assigned Required Education, Certifications, Licensures (minimum requirements) An earned Ph.D. degree in electrical or computer engineering or a closely related discipline at the time of appointment.
